So, how do you obtain an interest free Mass Save Heat loan? It’s as easy as 1,2,3, well actually 1,2,3,4,5, and 6.

1: Choose your HVAC contractor. You will need a signed estimate or proposal on their company letterhead. It’s highly recommended to only work with a company that is both licensed and insured. JCP Plumbing, Heating, and Cooling is a participating contractor in the Mass Save Heat Loan program.

2: Complete a copy of the Mass Save Heat Loan program Intake Form and then submit it to a HEAT Loan program administrator. Make sure to include your signed contractor estimate/proposal, and any additional documents that are required. You will receive an Authorization Form if the work meets the program eligibility requirements.

3: Secure your Mass Save Heat Loan by submitting the Authorization form to a lender of your choice that participates in the program. If the lender approves your loan, they will issue you a check that is made payable to both you and the contractor that you have chosen to work with. 4: Have your HVAC contractor start the work. Paying your contractor is as easy as singing over the bank check to them when the work is complete.

6: Last but certainly not least, you need to schedule your verification inspection by calling 866-527-SAVE. You will also receive all of the necessary details on how to properly complete the required verification.
